Insurance Broker - Account Manager - Iroquois Falls Office

Business Line: Personal Lines, Sales

Hours Per Week: 35 (Full-Time)

Location: Iroquois Falls, Ontario

Job Duration: Full-Time, Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond promptly to telephone, email and fax enquiries, ensuring a high level of service is maintained
Provide expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects and clients about their personal insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures
Document EPIC customer files, using correct activity codes, noting all conversations with customers, insurers, etc.
Renewal review, recommendations, comparison quotes and remarket when needed
Action all renewals, endorsements and claims
Process change requests and new business/remarkets on insurance company portals
Review and invoice all endorsements and renewals (if not automatically invoiced by the system)
Release renewals after making appropriate changes when needed
Scan and attach documents to EPIC
Quote cross sells and up sell as much as possible
Issue pink slips when needed in addition to completing miscellaneous duties as assigned
Prepare new business documents to be sent for signatures via DocuSign, etc.
Report order: MVR, Autoplus, HITS,
Support other members of the team, as needed
Preparing documentation for clients: complete applications for, issue insurance certificates, and set application for processing by internal or external keying team
Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwriters
Resolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanor by leveraging product and service knowledge
Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals
Keeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes
Actively participate in training initiatives
